Zi Wei Dou Shu vs BaZi: Which Is More Accurate?

Asking "which is more accurate" is like asking whether a CT scan beats an MRI —
they image different things through different principles. Understand what each system is first.

One reads structure, the other reads energy

a chemical analysis of elemental energy. Too much fire, too little water,
what your chart needs, what each decade of luck adds or drains.

twelve palaces and a hundred-plus stars — a floor plan rather than a lab report.
Which star sits in your Life palace, what squeezes your Spouse palace,
whether your Wealth palace is under pressure.

So BaZi answers "how strong is this chart, when does luck turn" with a sharp edge;
Zi Wei answers "what does the marriage pattern look like, how do you get along with bosses" in finer detail.

The granularity difference

A practical example — same chart, question: "should I change jobs this year?"

"officer star supported / wealth star robbed" — an energy verdict.

transformations fly, what triggers the Career palace — down to "the new role
suits which industry, whether the new boss is easy to work with."

Zi Wei is more granular, if you can read twelve palaces. BaZi wins on elegance —
one logic of strength and balance covers everything.

Cross-validation beats choosing sides

Our approach is that you don't pick one: the BaZi result page pulls up the
Zi Wei chart for the same birth data directly. When BaZi says "officer star
emerges this year" and Zi Wei says "annual Life palace carries Hua Quan (化权)",
two languages pointing at the same thing is a much stronger signal than either alone.

❌ Common misconception: "Zi Wei has more stars so it's more accurate" or
"BaZi is older so it's more legitimate" — accuracy depends on the reader, not star count.

✅ Practical route: want your elemental balance and luck timing quickly → start
with BaZi. Want concrete patterns in marriage, career, relationships → then
open the Zi Wei chart. Both are free — casting a chart needs no account.

Traditional divination is a cultural reference and self-exploration tool — not medical, legal, or investment advice.
